Viviane is a vocalist, improviser, songwriter, composer of graphic scores, teacher and therapist.  She has performed in opera, folk, new music and the world of improvised music.  Viviane has been a featured soloist with various orchestras and ensembles, including the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, the Vancouver Symphony, as well as improvising orchestras/ensembles such the NOW Orchestra, Eye of Newt Ensemble, and the Berlin Improvisers Orchestra – Ber.I.O.   She has worked with many of the brightest figures in contemporary and improvised music, including Louis Andriessen (NL), Didier Petit (FR), Sissel Vera Petersen (DK), Phil Minton (UK), Paul Plimley, Peggy Lee, Joshua Zubot, James Meger and Torsten Müller.  Her current graphic score project, “First Words” was performed with the NOW Orchestra in Vancouver, March, 2018 and again in Montreal in November, 2019 with Ensemble SuperMusique.  Her critically acclaimed recording, Treize, a collection of improvised duets produced by Jesse Zubot, was released on the Drip Audio label.  She is based in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast.
